I visited El Salvador last week and here it my perspective about #bitcoin in #elsalvador This is the safest country in Latin America. No people do not accept bitcoin everywhere, merchants say about 3-5% of people pay with it. Which is pretty big! Most people still prefer to pay in cash or apple pay since it became available. New condos in secure buildings range from $200-$350k and up. There are cheaper places and houses as well starting arounf $20k and up. Also land is around that price range too depending on size. There are NO property Taxes currently in El Salvador. I felt safe the entire trip, there is virtually no crime, we felt safe and secure with our iPhones, gopros, cameras, drones and laptops all the time. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for 4 people in San Salvador ranged from $10-$15 which is wild! A lot of older people do not want to use it or accept it, they prefer cash, but will not speak out against Bukele. Driving in the city sucks a little only because they are developing a lot of road improvements, buildings and things so in the future it will be amazing. There is still a lot of time to go for improvement on the bitcoin side of things here, but they are the only country with a head start!
